TAMASHI C3 Floor Vase

The TAMASHI collection is composed of hand-thrown ceramic vases in black glazes. This tall, large vase is elegantly designed using the Japanese Kintsugi technique, in which ceramic pieces are reconstructed with a gold lacquer. The Kintsugi process is symbolic of resilience and rejuvenation. The pieces are carefully joined together and feature beautiful floral designs and a small K三 pattern.

Our ceramics are proudly made in Italy. Every piece is crafted from natural clay sourced from a historic quarry on the banks of the Tiber River, an area rich in tradition dating back to the Etruscan era. This distinctive green clay has a very high mineral content and, after firing, turns red and extremely hard. Unlike porcelain or white clay (a compound of kaolin, marble powder and other components), the weight and red tone of the clay, visible on the underside of each piece, are often surprising, the mark of true craftsmanship.

Each piece is presented in a wooden box.

Care instructions: handwash with a soft cloth lightly dampened with cold water.
