The HANATABA collection is composed of hand-thrown ceramic vases with a matte off-white glaze. This unique, dual-layer vase is then elegantly decorated on the exterior sides with subtle gray and pink flowers and on the interior sides with striking gold brushstrokes.

Our ceramics are proudly made in Italy. All pieces in these collections are crafted using natural clay sourced from a historic quarry along the banks of the Tiber River, an area rich in tradition dating back to the Etruscan era. This distinctive green lay, has a very high mineral content which, after firing, becomes red and very hard. In comparison with porcelain or white clay, (a chemical compound made from kaolin, marble powder and other components), the weight and the red of the clay, (visible on the underside of the pieces) are often surprising .This is the promise of high craftsmanship.

Care instructions: handwash with a soft cloth lightly dampened with cold water
